Township is a strategy and management game for Windows that brings you a similar experience to games like Farmville, but instead of a farm you will have to contribute to the growth of a city. Township offers an experience that, although casual, forces you to keep an eye on a number of processes.
Harvest food on your farm
In Township you will start with a small vegetable patch. During the tutorial you will learn that the products you grow will always be used elsewhere. For example, wheat is used to create feed for cows, but also to make bread. In turn, the cows give you milk, and all products can be sold to different buyers. In short, Township creates a trade network where nothing goes to waste. As a result, farms are, at first, your citizens' main livelihood
Build your own city
To expand your farms, however, you will need more workers. To achieve this, you will have to build houses for them to live in, and add basic services such as hospitals and schools. In this way, Township encourages you to gradually build your own city, which grows as you offer both housing and jobs. You can also build it up as you see fit, since you decide where to place the buildings and roads.
Township is a casual, but very entertaining game, where you will often have to wait for constructions or any other process to be completed, which makes for a less overwhelming gaming experience. Download Township for Windows here.
